A Transient Synchronous Stabilization Control Strategy for Grid-Connected Dc Delivery System of Grid-Configured Offshore Wind Farms
As new energy sources are increasingly integrated into the power grid on a large scale, the proportion of gridconfigured offshore wind power DC delivery systems in the power system is increasing yearly. However, there is a lack of dynamic characteristics during its transient process. Therefore, this paper investigates the transient synchronous stability mechanism of grid-connected converters with virtual synchronous generator (VSG) control and proposes measures to enhance their transient stability. Firstly, the transient stability model of the offshore wind power DC sending system with VSG during grid fault is established to obtain the factors influencing the converter's transient stability under different faults. The control method of VSG is improved according to the system's voltage coupling effect. Finally, Matlab/Simulink is used to build a simulation model of the offshore wind power grid-connected model under the inaccessible fault, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the improved control method of the VSG and the active control strategy of the grid-side three-phase short-circuit fault.
