Hand made gesture-based home automation using IOT with python OpenCV
The demand for smart home automation systems is growing at an accelerated pace due to their ability to simplify everyday tasks and enhance the convenience of modern living. However, many existing systems rely heavily on voice commands, physical switches, or internet connectivity, which may not be accessible to all users, especially those with physical disabilities or impairments. These traditional systems often come with high costs due to additional hardware and network dependencies, creating barriers for widespread adoption, particularly among users with special needs or those seeking simpler, more affordable solutions. The Contactless System efficiency was improved by implementing the proposed system as described in this proposal. Accordingly, this paper explains the gesture-controlled home automation based on python OpenCV.
