Low-carbon Dispatch Framework of Integrated Energy System Considering Power-to-Gas and Stepped Carbon Trading
In order to improve energy utilization and further abate carbon emissions of the integrated energy system (IES), a novel IES-oriented low-carbon economic dispatch framework is presented. Firstly, the dual-phase operational process of power-to-gas (P2G) is optimized to enhance both the carbon efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the IES. Secondly, to limit carbon emissions more strictly, a stepped carbon trading mechanism (SCTM) is incorporated. Finally, aiming to minimize the total operational cost of the IES, an optimization dispatch model is constructed considering relevant constraints and solved using the GUROBI solver. According to multiple operation scenarios, the effect of various carbon trade parameters on the economy and low-carbon performance of the IES is explored, thus revealing an in-depth look at the low-carbon economic scheduling of energy systems.
