The Operation Control Strategy of The Distribution Stations with On-Load Capacity and Voltage Regulating Transformers

With the access of high proportion distributed photovoltaic and random load, the problems of unbalanced three-phase load, voltage limit, distribution transformer, and line loss are becoming increasingly prominent in the distribution stations, which will seriously affect the reliability and economical operation of the distribution stations. Existing studies rarely introduce O-LCVRT to participate in the research on operation control of distribution stations. This paper proposes the operation control method of distribution stations with O-LCVRT. Given the problems of voltage over limit and power saving and loss reduction of distribution transformers, the operation control model of distribution station containing O-LCVRT is established, the control strategy and application effect of on-load capacity and voltage regulating transformer in photovoltaic - energy storage platform area is explored. The operation constraints of O-LCVRT, as well as other major equipment and components, are set. Aiming at many typical application scenarios, the objective function of minimum total operating cost, including loss cost of O-LCVRT, is established to solve the optimal operation control strategy of the model. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed model are verified through the analysis of practical examples and simulation experiments.
