A Semi-H Shaped Six-band Epsilon Negative Meta-atom with High Effective Medium Ratio for Multiband Microwave Application
In this study, a multiband meta-atom structure of metamaterial with high effective medium ratio (EMR) is designed. Here, the six band resonances are gained in the four separate microwave regions of S, C, X and Ku band for the different thickness of Rogers RT6010LM substrate material. A semi-H shaped copper structure is designed within multiple copper boundaries over Rogers RT6010LM substrate material of 10×10 mm2 and thickness 1.27mm. The properties of thickness were numerically studied using finite integration technique (FIT). The proposed design is adaptable for a range of applications due to its exceptional performance and simplicity. The multiple bands and high EMR properties have made this design an efficient one for satellite and long-distance microwave communications.
