Soil Texture Classification And Ideal Cocopeat Recommendation

Efficient use of water in farming is crucial, especially in areas with limited water supply. This study introduces a new method to classify soil surface texture and recommend the right amount of Cocopeat using Red Green Blue (RGB) images. This approach provides a cheaper and simpler alternative to traditional methods. However, determining the right amount of Cocopeat needed for different soils and environmental conditions is still a challenge. These findings show that RGB images can effectively identify soil texture, allowing accurate classification and personalized Cocopeat recommendations. This helps improve crop growth and soil health. The method is scalable, non-invasive and allows quick data collection using drones or satellites, making it suitable for large-scale use.
