Improving Energy Efficient Data Transmission Using Improved LEACH In WSN
Maintaining network lifetime and guaranteeing consistent data transmission in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) depend on energy economy. Designed to maximize energy usage in data transmission, this work proposes an updated form of the Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) protocol, often known as Improved LEACH (I-LEACH). Advanced capabilities like adaptive cluster head selection, dynamic time-slot modification, and energy-aware data aggregation techniques abound in the proposed I-LEACH protocol. Combining these improvements will help I-LEACH reduce energy consumption and raise general network performance. Results from simulations demonstrate that compared to traditional LEACH, I-LEACH significantly outperforms it in terms of network lifetime, energy efficiency, and data transmission reliability. Appropriate for applications needing long-term monitoring and managing energy resources in WSNs.
