Impact Study of 220V Induced Voltage on Insulator Resistance Measurement
When a resistance meter is used to measure insulator resistance on a complex transmission line, the adjacent operating line generates an AC induced voltage on the outage line. Under the influence of induced voltage, the resistance measuring instrument will produce a detection error when it detects a certain insulator in the insulator string. In this study, the measured resistance value is first used to simulate the three-piece insulator in the actual measurement situation, and the 220V AC voltage is connected to analyze the change of the measuring loop current of the measuring instrument under the 220V AC induction voltage, so as to calculate the resistance value measured by the resistance measuring instrument under the 220V induction voltage. The results show that when the induced voltage of 220V is present, the measured value of the resistance measuring instrument drops by 67%~72%. Finally, through the field test and in-depth statistical analysis, the simulation results of this study are consistent with the real test results. This study has a guiding significance for the accurate detection of insulators on complex lines.
