A Cloud Based Smart Energy Analyser Using IoT

In the past few decades, intelligent home systems have gained immense popularity due to their ability to increase both convenience and quality of life. Customers in the modern era desire dependable energy management, current information, and effective assistance. In this direction, there has been a significant amount of research effort done towards the development of some smart lighting systems in order to save energy and researchers developed an Android-based Smart home system for monitoring energy consumption to prevent anomalies. We investigate the idea of an IoT-based Smart Energy Management system with cloud computing which can be integrated to remotely control household equipment like fans and light, track and compute throughput, appliance power consumption and detect and record energy consumption in the cloud. The initiative being presented here aims to solve issues encountered by both consumers and distribution networks. The paper focuses on smart energy meters, which use embedded system features, such as a combination of hardware and software, to achieve desired functionality.
