Analysis and Recommended Strategies for Load Demand of Docking Ships and Capacity Selection of Shore Power Construction
This study explores the impact of the load demand of moored vessels on the capacity planning of shore power infrastructure, with the aim of proposing a scientific capacity selection strategy. By estimating the power demand of port vessels and analyzing the mainstream ship types of typical docks, the shore power capacity demand was studied and evaluated. The results indicate that the capacity of shore power construction should prioritize the actual electricity consumption of ships, while balancing economic feasibility and system adaptability. This article proposes optimization strategies, including demand driven capacity estimation and phased implementation, to reduce capacity redundancy, provide decision support for port managers and policy makers, and promote the economic, safe, and efficient operation of shore power technology.
