Design an Internet of Things (IoT) System for Monitoring, Fault Detection, and Controller Development in Street Lighting

To rescue the earth, cutting carbon emissions is currently the main priority. Carbon emissions also impact the CFC layer, increasing the earth’s temperature. Most countries in the world have recently been motivated to make their premises. Low levels of carbon emissions are a result of green technology. An issue must first be recognized before it can be addressed. The street light method is currently used in underdeveloped nations like Bangladesh, where everyone can see that the light is left on during the day but is not turned on properly at night. Additionally, this technology is expensive because it wastes a lot of energy, representing a significant economically harm for us. Light-emitting diodes are the most widely utilized type of street lighting. The goal of the project is to use some sensors to build a model that can be used to develop a low-cost street lighting system that can save money and labor. Data was collected from different locations in the city for this experiment, along with the lighting’s dimming slot time. Finally, calculating the cost of electricity use using a model that uses 10% of power during off-peak hours and 100% during peak hours. After that, lighting expenses are reduced compared to the highway or subway load current street lighting system.
