High PSRR CMOS Voltage Reference using DTMOS for IOMT applications

This paper presents a high PSRR CMOS voltage reference utilizing dynamic threshold MOSFET(DTMOS) technology for Internet of Medical Things applications. The integration of DTMOS technology enhances temperature stability and reduces sensitivity to supply variations, making it highly suitable for low-power medical devices. The circuit employs fewer transistors to effectively reduce power consumption and minimize area, resulting in a more compact and efficient design. The proposed voltage reference is implemented in 180 nm CMOS technology. The proposed circuit attains a temperature coefficient of 43.7 ppm/°C and a PSRR of -85.6 dB at normal human body temperature, ensuring stable operation in biomedical environments. The design operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to 85°C, making it suitable for diverse medical applications. Additionally, the circuit exhibits a low noise density of 3.9 µV/√Hz at 1 kHz, ensuring minimal interference in precision analog systems.
