NLP in Customer Care Centers to Enhance Customer Service
Natural Language Processing is an emerging tool in call centers, significantly improving the automation possibilities and the efficiency of customer service. This study investigates a theoretical model proposed for using NLP in the automation of everyday tasks, such as data entry, information retrieval, storage of information in the form of text, call categorization, and easy call responses, which requires major human intervention. By implementing NLP, the call centers can progress along with the workflow while human errors and messiness is reduced. This will allow employees to participate in complex interactions with customers, through which some of the important customer interactions will be improved, operation speed will be increased, waiting time and errors will be reduced, and minimal human interaction will be required. Besides the automation of tasks, NLP also enables call centers to serve a more customized customer service experience. Sentiment analysis of the voice through the variables of the loudness, pitch, and tone of the spoken sound by using voice recognition, real-time language processing and semantic analysis of the words spoken by the speaker will be used to prioritize calls as per the context of the needs and demands of the customer. Some advanced text recognition functions based on NLP gather customer users’ needs and problems more precisely which gives them the instruments for faster and more empathetic responses through voice generation. This study also describes how these AI-driven solutions can help companies to improve their customer satisfaction and resource utilization in the BPO industry, thus redefining the landscapes of AI to a great degree.
