SIGNWAVE Gesture-to-Text Conversion

SIGNWAVE is a wearable solution that provides a gesture-to-text conversion glove which bridges the communication gap between individuals with speech and hearing impairments. The system make use of flex sensors attached to gloves to detect hand gestures associated with sign language. The sensor data is processed and then displayed on an attached LCD Screen. SIGNWAVE offers a lightweight, wearable solution powered by a rechargeable battery. These gloves make interaction between individuals who are deaf or mute and the broader community easier and more comfortable, enhancing accessibility and makes sure that they feel included in various social settings.
