Capacity Allocation Method of Hybrid Energy Storage System for Photovoltaic Power Leveling
In order to improve the economy and reliability of the hybrid energy storage system, it is very important to select an appropriate capacity allocation method. Starting from the internal power division of the energy storage system, this paper proposes a capacity allocation method of the hybrid energy storage system based on adaptive decomposition. First, weighted moving average method is adopted to make the photovoltaic power meet the grid-connected standards. Then, the Marine Predator algorithm is used to optimize variational mode decomposition (MPA-VMD) to adaptively determine the number of modes K and the quadratic penalty term factor, and VMD-Hilbert is used to allocate HESS power to lithium batteries and supercapacitors, and then the optimal configuration model of hybrid energy storage system is established. The experimental results show that the PV power fluctuation is reduced from 20% to 8%, and the average annual cost is reduced by 34.6% compared with the single configuration energy storage scheme, and the average annual cost is reduced by 15% compared with the single variational mode decomposition (VMD) due to the optimization of the number of modes and the quadratic penalty term factor.
