ANÁLISE PRELIMINAR DE RISCOS (APR) APLICADA A UMA EMPRESA DE FABRICAÇÃO E MONTAGEM DE MÓVEIS DE MADEIRA
The Brazilian furniture industry, despite its economic relevance and significant job creation, faces significant challenges related to the health and safety of workers due to exposure to various occupational risks. This study aimed to analyze the risks present in the manufacture of furniture in a carpentry shop located in Governador Valadares/MG, through the application of the Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA) technique. The research, of an applied, qualitative, descriptive and exploratory nature, was based on a case study that allowed the identification, evaluation and proposal of preventive measures for the risks found. The results indicated the presence of physical, chemical, ergonomic and accident risks, with emphasis on the lack of collective protection equipment, training and adequate safety practices. As a recommendation, the need to implement control measures, correct use of PPE, continuous training of workers and preparation of risk maps to promote a safer and healthier work environment is highlighted.
