Solvothermal Synthesis of Hierarchical Sb/C for Enhanced Electrochemical Performance in Li‐Ion Batteries
Abstract Hierarchical Sb/C assembled by nanoplates has been synthesized via a solvothermal process and subsequent hydrothermal method, in which the amorphous carbon is obtained by using glucose as a carbon source. Benefitting from the hierarchical nanostructure and amorphous carbon layer, the Sb/C composite displays a higher specific capacity of 439 mAh g −1 after 100 cycles at 100 mA g −1 when applied as an anode material in the Li‐ion battery. At high current density of 2000 mA g −1 , a reversible capacity of 169 mAh g −1 can be achieved after 50 cycles.
