FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF MUSICAL-PERFORMATIVE THINKING IN HIGHER ARTS EDUCATION STUDENTS

Musical art allows individuals to interpret the world through artistic musical images. In the process of forming and developing a student's musical-performative thinking, the professor must consider individual abilities, psychophysical characteristics, personal traits, and the student's experience in perceiving reality within the broader context of culture, including knowledge, language, and spiritual-aesthetic components. The distinctive nature of musical thinking is revealed through comparisons with images that arise outside the realm of musical art. This process requires specific abilities, knowledge, skills, and experience that shape individual musical thinking.Among the psychological mechanisms influencing musical thinking, aspects such as imagination, associations, fantasy, emotional-imagery sensitivity, empathy, and perception play a crucial role. These mechanisms form an essential part of perception, allowing individuals to reflect certain qualities of objects and phenomena through music.Musical thinking and musical intelligence reflect a specific level of specialized knowledge, skills, and musical experience in mastering the language of music.Analyzing the evolution of musical art, it is important to understand its inseparable connections with the development of various modern scientific fields, such as information theory, symbolic logic, structural linguistics, and semiotics.According to the laws of acoustics, physiology, and psychology, the diversity of musical logic among the peoples of different nationalities in specific historical epochs can be explained by variations in social-musical practices. For instance, in countries that follow Orthodox Christianity, choral singing is widespread, whereas in Catholic traditions, instrumental and orchestral music has gained significant importance. This raises questions about understanding the processes of artistic-musical creativity, the practical implementation of tasks related to the development of musical thinking in future musicians, the mastery of expressive musical language elements by students, and the improvement of instrumental performance skills.
