Revision of the Limoniidae Described from Issyk-Kul by Rohdendorf (Diptera; Lower Jurassic)

Diptera from Issyk-Kul, a Lower Jurassic locality in Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia were described by Rohdendorf in four papers. The 59 specimens allotted by Rohdendorf to various families were revised; 19 of them belong to the Limoniidae. Only two species remain valid: Dipterodictya tipuloides Rohdendorf, 1961 and Dipterodictya mirabilis Rohdendorf, 1961. In total 19 new synonyms were proposed. A new species, Dipterodictya elongata sp. nov., is described and illustrated. Higher taxa created by Rohdendorf are synonymised as follows. Infraorders: Dictyodipteromorpha Rohdendorf, 1961 and Diplopolyneuromorpha Rohdendorf, 1961 are synonyms of Tipulomorpha Rohdendorf, 1961; families: Dictyodipteridae Rohdendorf, 1961, Diplopolyneuridae Rohdendorf, 1961, Hyperpolyneuridae Rohdendorf, 1961 and Musidoromimidae Rohdendorf, 1961 are junior synonyms of Limoniidae Rondani, 1856.
