Effect of Different Temperatures as Electrochemical Behaviour of Paracetamol Using Nano Sensor of Modified Electrode
The cyclic voltammetric technique was used to study the electrochemical behavior of paracetamol at different temperatures (6 °C–50 °C) and to analysis the effect of temperature on anodic and cathodic current peaks by using modified electrode fMWCNT/GCE in a 10 ml solution of (1 M) KCl and (0.38 mM) PAR at scan rate (0.1 V s −1 ). The results of cyclic voltammogram showed the oxidation current peaks of PAR increases gradually with increasing temperature. The activation energy (Ea*) was calculated using Arrhenius equation for anodic current peak to be (38.820) kJ·mol −1 ·K −1 and for cathodic current peak is (41.570) kJ·mol −1 ·K −1 . Additionally, the thermodynamic functions include activation free energy (ΔG), activation enthalpy (ΔH) and activation entropy (ΔS) were determined by using Eyring equation. The results gave positive values and negative values, the positive value means the reaction is spontaneous (reversible) and negative values means the reaction is non-spontaneous (irreversible reaction).
