Managing changes in a water utility through a water loss control program

Water loss control activities in our water supply companies are still simplified, insufficiently visible and without adequate support at the company management level. This position of the persons responsible for detecting water leaks and other tasks related to the issue of water losses results in low motivation and insufficient results. In addition, we have a problem with inadequate staff, lack of education and regular upgrading of new knowledge and skills, insufficient communication between experts from different water supply companies and poor communication within the company itself. The concept of Change Management is presented as one of the key tools for the necessary improvements.
