Numerical Study of MHD Ternary Jeffrey Nanofluid Squeezing Flow Between Two Parallel Plates
The current study investigates the dynamic of ternary Jeffrey nanofluid between two parallel plates in magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) squeezing flow. The aim of the research is to enhance the understanding of flow and heat transfer of ternary Jeffrey nanofluid, contributing to the development of innovative solutions for engineering, biomedical and industrial applications. Graphene (Gr), graphene oxide (GO) and silver (Ag) nanoparticles dispersed in base fluid sodium alginate (C6H9NaO7) are considered. Current findings are compared to findings from published researches for validation. Similarity variables are employed to reduce governing equations in the form of partial differential equations (PDE) into ordinary differential equation (ODE) and solved by Keller-box method. The results demonstrate that the fluid velocity increases due to squeeze of plates while on the contrary, with the increase of Deborah parameter and concentration of nanoparticles at the center of plates. The fluid velocity decreases near the lower plate when ratio of relaxation and retardation times and Hartmann parameter increases. The magnetic field has a strong impact compared to other effects on velocity due to the Lorentz force.
