Progress in the Treatment of Peptic Ulcer with Chinese and Western Medicine

消化性溃疡(Peptic Ulcer, PU)是消化系统常见病、多发病，全球发病率约为10%，常并发出血、穿孔、幽门梗阻、癌变等严重并发症，对患者生命安全造成严重威胁。目前认为消化性溃疡主要是由于幽门螺杆菌、使用非甾体抗炎药等因素损害了胃、十二指肠粘膜的防御和修复机制，使得胃酸和胃蛋白酶侵袭粘膜，从而导致溃疡的形成。虽然西医通过药物治疗消化性溃疡取得一定疗效，但也存在复发率高、出现抗生素耐药性及长时间用药的不良反应等问题。中医通过中药方剂、针灸、穴位贴敷、穴位埋线等治疗手段，可有效改善临床症状、降低复发率等，因此临床上推荐中西医结合治疗消化性溃疡。现本文对近年来中西医在消化性溃疡的病因、发病机制、诊断、治疗等方面进行综述，希望能为临床治疗消化性溃疡提供帮助。Peptic Ulcer (PU) is a common and frequently occurring disease of the digestive system, with a global incidence of about 10%. It is often accompanied by serious complications such as bleeding, perforation, pyloric obstruction, and cancer, posing a serious threat to patients’ lives. At present, it is believed that peptic ulcer is mainly due to Helicobacter pylori, the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and other factors that damage the defense and repair mechanism of gastric and duodenal mucosa, so that gastric acid and pepsin invade the mucosa, resulting in the formation of an ulcer. Although Western medicine has achieved certain curative effects by treating peptic ulcers through causes and symptoms, there are also problems such as high recurrence rate, antibiotic resistance, and long-term adverse reactions. Traditional Chinese medicine can effectively improve clinical symptoms and reduce the recurrence rate through traditional Chinese medicine prescription, acupuncture, acupoint application, acupoint burying, and other treatment methods, so it is recommended to treat peptic ulcers by combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine. This article reviews the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of peptic ulcers in recent years, hoping to provide help for the clinical treatment of peptic ulcers.
