“Full”, “Awake”, “Nourish”—Traditional Chinese Medicine Stay-up-Late Energy-Restoring Dietary Desserts
On the basis of the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, this study takes the idea of “food cures diseases before it happens” advocated by Yin Shan Zheng Yao as a guide to action, and carefully develops a Chinese medicine dessert specifically for people who stay up late. The four ingredients of Dioscoreae rhizome (Shanyao), Jujubae fructus (Dazao), Nelumbinis semen (Lianzi), and Euryales semen (Qianshi) are selected for compatibility, and strictly follow the principle of “sovereign (Dioscoreae rhizoma), minister (Jujubae fructus), assistant (Nelumbinis semen) and courier (Euryales semen)”. It has the remarkable effect of fortifying the spleen and replenishing qi, regulating the mind and consolidating the foundation. This study successfully transformed the classic dietary therapy wisdom into portable products, creating an effective paradigm for the contemporary practice of “curing diseases before they occur”, and fully demonstrating the unique value of traditional Chinese medicine in inheriting the concept of medicine and food homology.
