Molecularly engineered bio-based benzoxazine for organic phase change materials with latent flame retardancy and 80–100 °C thermal storage applications
Conventional organic PCMs face limited melting ranges and high flammability. We design benzoxazine-based PCMs by green integration of oxazine, alkanes, and amide bonds, which exhibit melting points (80–100 °C) and intelligent flame retardancy.
