Analysis of spatial distribution characteristics and main influencing factors of landslide hazards in typical basins of central Sichuan province
Landslides are one of the geological disasters that are prone to occur in the Sichuan province. Analyzing the spatial distribution characteristics and main influencing factors of landslides in the central Sichuan province is of great significance for safeguarding the lives and property of the local people. Taking 4 typical river basins in central Sichuan as the research area, we analyze the spatial distribution characteristics of landslides, the result show that areas with higher rainfall and higher river network density are more prone to landslides, and landslides occur more along the strike of faults. Using historical landslide disaster as the target data, and rainfall, DEM, slope, curvature, FVC, distance to rivers, distance to faults, and vegetation type as landslide influencing factors, the random forest classification method is used to extract the main influencing factors of landslides in Sichuan province. The results show that the main causes of landslides in the central Sichuan province are similar, and the three most important influencing factors of landslides in the four river basins are the distance to rivers, the distance to faults, and FVC, but the ranking of them varies.
