INTEGRATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE INTO RECRUITMENT: POTENTIAL AND CHALLENGES FOR THE IT SECTOR OF UKRAINE

The article examines the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into recruitment processes in the IT sector of Ukraine, taking into account the criteria of reliability, loyalty and honesty of candidates, which are increasingly being assessed automatically in the context of the digitalization of the labor market. The author substantiates the relevance of introducing intelligent systems in recruitment in order to increase the efficiency, objectivity and accuracy of personnel decision-making, especially in the context of high competition for talent, personnel changes caused by the war, and the need for rapid business adaptation to the challenges of an unstable environment. A structured analysis of the four stages of AI evolution in the field of recruitment is carried out: from automation of routine operations and algorithmic screening to the use of machine learning and predictive analytics methods to predict the professional potential of candidates. The author identifies the intelligent methods used to assess candidates' compliance with corporate values, soft skills and trustworthiness, in particular, based on digital footprints, text analysis, sociometric indicators and psychological profiling. Modern recruiting tools that integrate AI to optimize the processes of search, selection, and performance analytics are detailed. The author outlines the main risks associated with the use of AI in HR practices: algorithmic bias, limited representativeness of training samples, lack of transparency of decision-making models, risk of discrimination, reduced trust on the part of candidates, and potential reputational losses for the employer. Both the advantages of AI – increasing speed, reducing costs, minimizing subjective influence – and ethical, legal and social challenges are presented in a balanced manner. The article proves the prospects for further development of intelligent systems in the field of human resource management. The results of the study can become a practical basis for the implementation of technologically sound solutions in the HR strategies of Ukrainian IT companies, contributing to strengthening their competitiveness in the post-crisis economic transformation.
