Foggy image enhancement algorithm based on dynamic weighting
In the process of outdoor image acquisition and high-altitude shooting, image quality is easily disturbed by fog and other weather conditions. Aiming at the problem of low contrast and poor transparency of foggy images, the combination of dark channel a priori defogging theory and dynamic weighted fusion is designed to effectively improve the image contrast while appropriately retaining the image brightness to realize foggy image enhancement. Firstly, the improved dark channel defogging algorithm greatly improves the image contrast and obtains the image to be weighted and fused. secondly, fuse the origin image and the defogging image based on the dynamic weight, to improve the brightness of the image and to stretch the dynamic range of the images, which retain more image information and details. The experimental results show that compared with other mainstream algorithms for image enhancement, the algorithm proposed in this paper has obvious advantages in objective evaluation indexes, especially contrast and information entropy; in subjective evaluation the overall color is real and natural, and the subjective visual effect is better.
