THE INFLUENCE OF MIKROELEMENT DEFIKIENCY IN THE FORMATION OF COGNITIVE FUNKTIONS IN ADOLESKENT IN REGIONS WITH ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS
This article analyzes the impact of micronutrient deficiencies on the cognitive development of adolescents in regions suffering from environmental problems. Essential microelements such as iron, zinc, copper, selenium, magnesium and iodine are discussed and their role in ensuring the normal functioning of the central nervous system. The mechanisms by which micronutrient deficiency can impair memory, attention, and learning processes, as well as lead to emotional disturbances, are discussed. The article proposes an integrated approach, including nutritional adjustments, regular medical monitoring and measures to improve the environmental situation, in order to minimize the negative consequences of deficiency on the cognitive development of the younger generation.
