Motivaciones para acceder a un trabajo puente tras la jubilación: revisión panorámica

Introduction: It is necessary to reconceptualize old and new forms of work in old age, given the new realities experienced by older people who decide or need to continue working after retirement. Objective: Describe the motivations for accessing a bridge job in retired older people. Methodology: A documentary research study was carried out using the Arskey and O'Malley methodology for panoramic reviews. A question was defined for the literature review, built from three central elements: a) target population, b) priority topic and, c) prognosis. Results: It was noted that there is no single motivation for retired older adults to access bridge work. The motivations are diverse and can be related to personal-family, structural-organizational, cultural-social reasons and health status. Of these, health status, economic situation, educational level, availability of workplaces and gender stand out. Conclusions: This opening of the panorama that has prevailed in the last decade regarding bridge work is a glimpse of a phenomenon that requires being addressed in greater depth in future research from various areas of knowledge.
