Basic Study on Market Trading in Integrated Electric Power-Grid and Hydrogen-Grid Operation
To achieve a carbon-neutral society, it is necessary to introduce more renewable-energy components and hydrogen (H2) produced using renewable energy. However, when H2 is actively produced through electrolysis does not necessarily coincide with the demand for H2, so an energy-management system that adjusts the supply and demand of electricity and H2 is needed. We propose a method for enabling the provision of a mechanism to promote cooperation among each business operator to improve overall key performance indices (KPI) and a mechanism for building consensus on overall KPI. We also developed a prototype simulator for an electricity- and Hi-distrlbution-management system including a function for trading in multiple markets.
