Optimizing Acrophobia Treatment Outcomes Through Personalized VR Image Scenarios and Simulations
Acrophobia, or fear of heights, affects a significant portion of the population, often leading to severe anxiety in everyday situations involving elevation. Virtual Reality (VR) has emerged as a promising tool for exposure therapy, providing a safe and controlled environment for patients to confront their fears. However, the use of personalized VR image scenarios tailored to individual needs can further enhance treatment outcomes. This paper explores how personalized virtual environments, powered by advanced simulations and image processing, can optimize acrophobia therapy by providing more effective, patient-centered treatment strategies.
