Observation Sequence Autonomous Planning Method Aiming at Improving the Observability of Camera Installation Errors
In autonomous relative optical navigation, the spacecraft's observation sequence can affect the observability of camera installation errors, thereby severely impacting the accuracy of autonomous estimation of camera installation errors. To achieve high-accuracy estimation of camera installation errors during the relative optical navigation process, this paper proposes an observation sequence autonomous planning method aiming at improving the observability of camera installation errors. Firstly, the observability of camera installation errors in the autonomous relative optical navigation system is theoretically analyzed, the factors affecting the observability of camera installation errors are identified, and the conditions for the observability of installation errors are provided. Secondly, the observability of camera installation errors is quantified using the Fisher Information Matrix (FIM). Then, by optimizing the observability of camera installation errors, the spacecraft's observation sequence is autonomously planned. Finally, numerical simulations are conducted to verify the advantages of the proposed method. Compared with the random planning method for spacecraft observation sequences, the estimation accuracy of camera installation errors in this method is improved by 59.89%.
