Macroeconomic Stabilization: The Foundation of a Country's Economic Security

Three decades of functioning in the conditions of the market economy in Georgia have demonstrated that only the liberalization of the economy and the so-called commercialization cannot become the only means of accelerating the development of the countryside and agriculture, improving the socio-economic condition of the rural population, and overcoming mass unemployment and poverty. The global food crisis significantly strengthens the state's motivation to support and regulate agriculture, activating the levers not provided by self-regulating market mechanisms. Effective management of the agri-food sector can only be achieved through a balanced approach to multiple factors, this creates the basis for the maximum and guaranteed realization of the socio-economic interests of all financial entities. Keywords: macroeconomics, stabilization, economic security, regulatory agencies, prices, agri-food products, export-import.
