MANAGEMENT OF ECONOMIC ASSETS OF THE RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH: INTERACTION OF RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS AND THE STATE

The article explores the mechanisms for managing the economic assets of the Russian Orthodox Church in the context of its interaction with the state. The historical and legal aspects of state-church relations, the organizational structure of church property management, the sources of the formation of economic assets of the Russian Orthodox Church, the system of tax and property preferences, as well as the mechanisms of interaction between the church and the state in the economic sphere are analyzed. Problems and prospects for improving the management of the economic assets of the Russian Orthodox Church are identified, ways to optimize state-church interaction are proposed. The study is based on an analysis of regulations, internal church documents, statistics and scientific literature.
