FEATURES OF INVESTMENT ACTIVITIES OF INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES IN RUSSIA

The article examines the investment activity of industrial enterprises as the most important factor in industrial development and a key condition for the development and successful transformation of the Russian economy. Despite the economic growth observed in recent years, there are many problems in the real sector of the economy that limit the growth potential of industries and make it impossible to achieve the goals of technological sovereignty in a shorter time. Using the analysis of statistical data for 2015–2024, the special importance of the manufacturing industry in the industrial sector of the economy was shown, in connection with which the problems of the industry require consideration and special attention from the state. The conducted analysis of the features of the investment activity of industrial enterprises showed that the volume of activity is increasing, but this is largely due not to the development of production. It is noted that enterprises need investments to expand and update their equipment fleet, operate at the limit of production capacity, and have insufficient potential to realize the opportunities that have opened up in the sales market. Existing problems have led to a sharp drop in the index of entrepreneurial confidence in manufacturing industries. The article offers recommendations, the implementation of which will increase investment activity in industry as a factor in the economic growth of the Russian economy.
