CONTENT FOUNDATIONS OF BUSINESS MODELING IN CONDITIONS OF LIMITED RESOURCES
The purpose of this article is to further develop the content foundations of business modeling in conditions of limited resources. The methodological foundations of this article include a systematic approach that allows considering business modeling in conditions of limited resources as an interconnected concept of optimizing resource provision at all stages of the production process. As a basis for achieving this goal, the methodology of economic and mathematical modeling aimed at solving resource-saving problems was used. In this article, the author proposes a new theoretical and practical approach to modeling the optimal order process, as well as to modeling the decision-making process within the framework of the “Make or Buy” concept. The results obtained in this work can be used in the process of further development of business modeling and resource saving management problems. The use of the proposed models will allow manufacturing enterprises to meet the existing need for material resources with minimal costs for the acquisition and storage of inventory, as well as achieve a balance of available resources with production needs, which is especially important in the context of resource constraints. Within the framework of the modeling, the problem of determining the optimal order size was solved, which comes down to minimizing total costs, including purchasing costs and storage costs of stocks in the warehouse. The proposed models allow optimizing logistics solutions at the stage of delivery and production of products, while achieving the planned value of the objective function in the field of resource saving.
