DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES AS A TOOL FOR IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
The article discusses the problem of improving the efficiency of public administration in the context of digital transformation. The purpose of the study is to analyze digital technologies as a tool for improving the effectiveness of management activities, with an emphasis on identifying the main directions of their implementation. The paper uses methods of theoretical analysis, systematization of literary sources, as well as generalization of practical experience in implementing digital solutions in the Russian management system. The authors identify e-government, digital platforms, big data technologies, workflow automation, and project methods as tools that increase accessibility, transparency, and speed in the provision of public services. At the same time, the problems of digital transformation are identified: institutional and technological barriers, digital inequality, regulatory constraints and staff shortages. Based on the analysis, practical proposals have been formulated to overcome these limitations and ensure the sustainability of digital governance. The work is an up-to-date study in the context of the digitalization of the public sector and is recommended for management policy makers, researchers and practitioners in the field of digital public administration.
