EXPLANATIONS OF THE ESTIMATED LEVELS OF COMPETENCE AND COMPETENCIES FORMATION

The article examines the complexity of the level of formation and structure of the integrative nature of competencies and competence. Specific explanations of concepts such as measurement and evaluation used in pedagogical diagnostics are also considered. The scientific works of several authors related to pedagogical diagnostics have been studied, in which the terms measurement and assessment of competencies and competence have insufficient clear definitions, i.e., they have an analytical nature of activity. In our opinion, the levels of competence formation and competence within the limits of pedagogical diagnostics should not be measured, but evaluated. The article also analyzes concepts such as pedagogical measurement, assessment, and evaluation.
