Profitability of prophylactic R3 pesticide applications in soybean when pest pressure is low
Plain Language Summary Scheduled foliar fungicide and insecticide applications have gained considerable interest in soybean production in the United States. The profitability of scheduled pesticide applications has not been examined in Kentucky in recent years. In 2020, research in Kentucky examined the profitability of scheduled pesticide applications in both full season (single crop) and double crop soybean. Profitability was not increased when scheduled foliar fungicide and insecticide applications were used.
