ENVIRONMENTAL AND BIOGENOMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF SOIL- VEGETATION COVER IN THE MAILUU-SUU RIVER BASIN

The article is devoted to the ecological and biogeochemical features of the soil and vegetation cover of the Mailuu-Suu River basin located in Kyrgyzstan. The work analyzes the geographical and climatic conditions of the region, including relief characteristics and seasonal climatic changes that affect the ecosystem. The main soil types, such as chernozems, sierozems and alluvial soils, as well as their chemical properties, including pH (hydrogen index) and the content of key macro- and microelements, are considered. Particular attention is paid to the diversity of vegetation, represented by both native and invasive species, as well as plant adaptations to specific conditions, such as aridity and salinity of the soil. The interaction between soil and vegetation is analyzed, including nutrient flows and their impact on ecosystem productivity. The article also raises important issues related to pollution and environmental degradation, considering sources of pollution, such as agriculture and industry. The main threats to the basin ecosystem are highlighted, including climate change and anthropogenic impact. In conclusion, recommendations for the protection and restoration of the ecosystem are presented, focusing on the need for sustainable management of natural resources and the conservation of biological diversity. The results of the study emphasize the importance of an integrated approach to the ecology of the Mailuu-Suu River basin and its significance for the region as a whole.
