BREEDING AND PRODUCTIVE QUALITIES OF ANIMALS OF VARIOUS GENOTYPES OF THE KAZAKH WHITE-HEADED BREED
The article presents the breeding class composition of the herd of farms, the live weight of bulls and the dynamics of growth and development of young cattle of the Kazakh white-headed breed of the Sultan farm in the Akzhaik district of the West Kazakhstan region. In beef cattle breeding, the amount of live weight and average daily increase in livestock is one of the most important criteria when working on breed improvement, as it ultimately determines meat productivity and is the main breeding feature. The paper examines the peculiarities of breeding and selection of this breed, as well as the influence of genetic factors on the main productive indicators, such as growth, development and meat productivity. Data on the comparison of animals with different paternal lines and their ability to adapt to different climatic and feeding conditions are presented. Special attention is paid to identifying the relationship between the genotype and exterior features, such as measurements, body indexes and other parameters that affect the economic efficiency of production. The research is aimed at optimizing the breeding process and increasing livestock productivity, as well as improving animal disease resistance. According to the results of the study, cows, breeding bulls and young animals met the requirements of the breed standard in terms of live weight. The results of the study of the exterior features and live weight of bull calves of various genotypes are presented. The results of the work can be useful for breeders, farmers and livestock specialists involved in the development of the Kazakh white-headed breed and improving its qualities in modern agricultural production
