Study on pulse propagation behaviors in optical fibers based on a hybrid model

A hybrid model based on the Lakshmanan–Porsezian–Daniel and Sasa–Satsuma equations is developed to explore pulse propagation in optical fibers. Analytical solitonic solutions are derived using the homotopy analysis method and illustrated in two- and three-dimensional visualizations. Stability analysis reveals the model’s robustness, offering insights into optical pulse dynamics in fiber communication systems and nonlinear optics.

Abstract

A hybrid model based on the Lakshmanan–Porsezian–Daniel and Sasa–Satsuma equations is developed to explore pulse propagation in optical fibers. Analytical solitonic solutions are derived using the homotopy analysis method and illustrated in two- and three-dimensional visualizations. Stability analysis reveals the model’s robustness, offering insights into optical pulse dynamics in fiber communication systems and nonlinear optics.
