74 Examining body composition and ovulation status in relation to RED-S risk in female endurance athletes
LSI for males was higher than females (74.8713.45%versus 71.8014.05%respectively, p=0.007).LSI for under 18year-olds was 4.37% and 7.34% higher than 18-35-year-olds (p<0.001) and over 35-year-olds (p<0.001),respectively.Conclusion Lower LSI in females and older adults 6 months post-ACLR suggests expectations around timing of RTP in these groups may need to be managed differently.Future work could explore if specific interventions could increase speed of strength gains in these groups.
