On the Logarithmic Behavior of the Viscosity Arrhenius Parameters in Some Newtonian Liquids to Predict Boiling Temperature

Understanding fluid properties is essential in studying transport phenomena, as it allows us to compute heat transfer and mass flow accurately. Among these properties, viscosity stands out as one of the most significant, principally affected by temperature and pressure. For this reason, we developed another more accurate logarithmic expression that models the correlation between the two parameters of viscosity Arrhenius-type equation which are the energy of activation (Ea) and the pre-exponential factor (As), using advanced statistical and econometric techniques. Similarly, the Arrhenius temperature (TA) previously introduced has been used to enhance the physical significance of the model and enrich the discussion. This model was only possible because of the robust statistical correlations we discovered while validating the model with 195 data sets of pure solvent absolute viscosity, previously investigated in literature at varying temperature ranges, and documented in literature. This model is a complete game-changer for engineering data, as it provides accurate estimations of missing parameters, where a well-established computation of one coefficient is available. In addition, by adopting this logarithmic model, we can achieve previously unattainable levels of accuracy in the viscosity measurement field and make it more accessible to researchers working in this domain.
