Kuş Uçuşu Filminin Mobbing Kavramı ile İncelenmesi

Mobbing is the state of pressure, alienation and intimidation attempts against people in workplaces that continue for a while. Mobbing negatively affects employees in every way. This situation causes the person's work performance to decrease, psychological well-being to decrease and quality of life to decrease. Document review, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used in this study. The Turkish series Kuş Uçuşu used in the research is a drama internet series. The series was released on Netflix on June 3, 2022. The series consists of 3 seasons and 24 episodes. While the lead character of the series, Lale Kıran, is depicted as a lion, Aslı, who will try to mob Lale, is described as a bird. Lale Kıran is a news program host who has adopted accurate reporting as a principle in a major television program. There are also people in the sector she works with who she has been friends with for years. Aslı, on the other hand, is a person who takes Lale Kıran as a role model and reads the press and publications in order to be like her. Aslı's admiration turns into hatred over time. Lale is a noble character with her elegance, delicate personality, integrity, and devotion to her job and family. Lale did not give up her principles for popularity, this stance is what made her Lale Kıran. Aslı wants the fame and status that Lale has. Aslı and Lale's friends for years will do their best to send Lale from her position. The point Aslı does not understand is this; Lale has reached her position thanks to her upright stance and character. Lale, who was subjected to mobbing, did not compromise on her upright stance and continued with her life. Although she was negatively affected by this situation, she continued with her life with her character. Aslı came to the position that Lale has thanks to the mobbing she did, but she could not be happy. This study explains the mobbing that Aslı and others applied to Lale.
