The article presents the pathophysiological mechanisms of development of urolithiasis and idiopathic cystitis in cats, considers the causes and symptoms of urolithiasis, and emphasizes the importance of diet therapy in the treatment of lower urinary tract diseases in cats. The work analyzes the features of the composition of dietary feeds for animals with lower urinary tract diseases, highlights the key factors that must be taken into account when choosing a diet. The article provides practical recommendations for diet therapy for cats with urolithiasis, aimed at improving the quality of life of animals.
