Application of Large Language Models in Interpretation Teaching in the Context of Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence technology is profoundly reshaping the translation industry, while also bringing new opportunities and challenges to interpretation teaching. This paper analyzes the three major roles of large language models as "language advisor," "language partners," and "language assessment specialist" in pre-class, in-class, and post-class teaching of interpretation. It delves into the potential of large language models in enhancing teaching effectiveness and cultivating students' practical abilities, and proposes corresponding teaching strategies. However, it is also pointed out that the application of these technologies is accompanied by new challenges and risks. By conducting an in-depth exploration of the application of large language models in teaching, this paper aims to provide new perspectives for the reform and innovation of English interpretation courses.
