Photoinduced synthesis of ultrafine Pt nanoparticles under C60 spatial confinement: application to methanol oxidation and nitrophenol reduction

In this study, ultrafine Pt nanoparticles were prepared in a surfactant-free system by utilizing the spatial confinement of C 60 with photo-induced reduction, which provides a new idea for designing environmentally friendly catalysts.
