Synthesis of 1,3,4-Thiadiazoles: Review

Abstract Molecules with 1,3,4-thiadiazole ring structures have potential biological relevance. These organic molecules have potentially reported for their medicinal importance. In this review, different strategies for the synthesis of biologically important molecules of 1,3,4-thiadiazole ring are briefly summarized and an attempt has been made with recent research findings on this nucleus, to review the structural modifications on different thiadiazole derivatives. Its covers advances made in the last two decades and a brief account of various alterations done on the thiadiazoles nucleus.
